I'd love to share my unforgettable journey with breathwork with you. It all started when I decided to go to Thailand for a breathwork training. I went with no expectations, thinking I was almost enlightened after my Kundalini yoga training in India. Haha, just kidding. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The Training in Thailand
After three days in the breathwork training, the inevitable happened: my carefully (and unconsciously) built wall came crashing down. It was a super intense and unforgettable experience. I reached parts of myself that even plant medicines and consciousness-expanding substances couldn't touch. I processed deeply rooted childhood traumas and made contact with my spirit guide. I’m still blown away by the impact, depth, and power of breathwork.
The Power of Breathwork
The beautiful thing about breathwork is that it requires no extra tools – just your breath. It was so intense, so deep, and so beautiful. I realized how important safety is for me. The facilitators in Thailand created such a safe environment that I felt comfortable enough to let go completely. I found myself crying in the facilitator’s lap – something I don’t usually do. As a breathwork coach now, safety is something I deeply value.
Transformation and Gratitude
Since breathwork entered my life, I’ve become a different person. It feels like a washing machine for the soul. Using breath as a tool is incredibly valuable – you always have it with you. Control over your breath is control over your life. I’m so thankful and happy. It’s like I’ve shed two heavy winter coats, and I wish this for everyone.
Breathwork for Everyone
Breathwork isn’t just for processing big, deep traumas or when you’re unhappy. It can also be a wonderful way to create space in your head and body. It’s a way to come home to yourself. It doesn’t always have to be dramatic and intense. Sometimes, it’s simply a way to relax and calm your mind.
